Otimectin is especially developed for treating ear mites in cats.
It is not meant for use in other animals, because the active ingredient ivermectine can have adverse reactions in other animals than cats..
The ear mite is a very small grey parasite living in the ear canal, causing scratching around the ear and shaking the head. This and the crab effects will warn the owner that something is wrong.
The infection can easily pass to contact animals, so check and treat if necessary all other cats, dogs and small animals in the household with an ear cleaner with effect on mites.
Otimectin ear gel contains 1 gram of ivermectin as active substance.
Repeat the treatment after 7 and 14 days.

Fill up the complete ear canal with Otimectin drops and massage gently until the fluid is evenly in the ear canal divided. Repeat the treatment after 7 days and after 14 days. |
