Product description

Frontline Combo Cat can be used on cats and ferrets.
The one active ingredient Fipronil kills fleas within a day after administration and prevents a flea infestation on your cat for 4 weeks. It kills ticks and has a repellent effect against ticks up to 2 weeks (depending on the species of tick). It can also be used for treatment of infections with biting lice.
The other active ingredient (S)-Methoprene, an insect growth regulator, prevents the development of eggs, larvae and pupae in the surroundings of the cat for 6 weeks.
Drops applied to the neck (spot-on).
For cats and ferret swe have the Frontline Combo Cat pipette as a 3-pack and a 6 pack.

It is important to treat all animals in the house against fleas. In case of a flea infestation, or the existing risk of a flea infestation, it is also necessary to treat the infected environment, so that you kill larvae and all adult fleas in the house. Indoor-X Spray is a suitable product for this.
Fleas are intermediate hosts of the dog tapeworm Dipylidium Caninum. This tapeworm can be transmitted by swallowing a flea by dogs and cats. This is one of the reasons why veterinarians advise regularly deworming your pets. It is wise to deworm all adult cats up to 4 times a year depending on the risk of infection.

Contra indication	Do not use for kittens under the age of 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 1 kg. Do not administer the product to ferrets younger than 6 months old. Do not use for rabbits.
Dosage	Read the instructions and packaging before use. The minimum recommended dosage for cats is 5 mg of fipronil per kg and 6 mg of (S)-methoprene per kg. One pipette per cat or ferret for topical application to the skin. The minimum treatment interval is four weeks. Method of administration: apply the entire contents of the pipette to one spot on the skin of the neck by the shoulder blades.

Side effects	In very rare cases: skin reactions, such as hair loss, redness, itching. Excessive salivation, neurological symptoms, vomiting or respiratory symptoms. These symptoms usually disappear of their own accord. Licking may occasionally cause salivation.
Warnings	Attachment of individual ticks may occur. Avoid licking or contact with the eyes or mouth of animals and humans. Wash hands after use. Read the special precautions for use.
